1991 "A Very Good
Year"
1991 Group Picture
75th Anniversary Encampment
Our scouts built a three legged hour-glass tower for this
encampment. The tower won the Atlanta Area Council's Award for best display and as a
result our tower hosted the Council Flag which was flown directly under out troop flag.
The scouts and adults pictured above were the backbone of this highlight of BSA Troop 115
The picture of the encampment area was taken from our tower.
Just imaging a 180 degree look in the opposite direction. There were more tents in the
reverse view than in front. The area behind belonged to the Cobb District, which is the
largest in the Atlanta Area Council.

Troop 115 followed up the 75th Encampment with another major

A link is being prepared to take you to a 50th Anniversary
Roster of our Charter History, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters and our 650 Scouts as
of 1991. I will be attempting to make the list current to include members since 1991. The
list compiled for 1991 took 6 months to build and find the members current status.
I challenge any past members to bring in
your pictures of past highlights. No picture is considered unimportant, but rather
extremly valuable. Please share you memories so others may see them and enjoy.
